LFM is an international journal on religion in Africa and elsewhere. It publishes articles and manuscripts in French and English. It looks at religion at large, with a strong emphasis on Christian missions and their legacy. Geographically, it focuses on the African continent though it tries to compare the latter with other areas as well. It offers a wide range of analytical perspectives, with contributions from disciplines such as history, anthropology, sociology, political science and theology.

"IAMS is an international, inter-confessional and interdisciplinary professional society for the scholarly study of Christian witness and its impact in the world. There are some 600 individual and corporate members around the world. The journal Mission Studies, is published twice a year. International conferences are held every three to four years." The website includes a directory of missiological societies and a variety of resources.

>> Association Francophone Oecuménique de Missiologie
Créée en 1994, l'AFOM vise "à promouvoir: la contribution spécifique du monde francophone à la missiologie chrétienne dans une démarche oecuménique; la recherche théologique sur la mission en lien avec l’expérience; la formation missiologique au plan universitaire et ecclésial, pastoral et laïc; la communication et la diffusion des travaux réalisés dans ce sens." Son site comprend notamment un précieux répertoire des lieux de la missiologie, recensant "les institutions engagées dans l'enseignement ou la recherche missiologique en français dans les divers continents, ainsi que les périodiques de missiologie en français".
